Vicky Randall has been practising as an artist for over twenty years,
working in sculpture and painting. She has studied under a number of
teachers, including well-known sculptor Freda Skinner. She has exhibited
in London, Kent and France, and her work has been commissioned and bought
in Britain, Canada, Hong Kong and France.
The work illustrated reflects her love for the Cevennes region of France,
where she has had a house for the past ten years. This beautiful, isolated
area of hills contains ravishing views, and many charming villages that
she has captured in her ink-and-wash pictures. She loves the colours
and their variation through the seasons, and the patterns formed by the
local stone used in the buildings.
Vicky frames her pictures herself, so that she can compliment and enhance
the image with suitable mount and frame. The pictures are available framed,
or mounted on card without frame.
