Inspired by her travels, Sarah's paintings blend images of landscape and architecture with spiritual elements, philosophies and tradition of local culture.

Her use of colour; turquoise, ochre and burnt orange are drawn from direct experience of the reservations, canyons and desert skies of the American south-west.

Applying combinations of watercolour, ink, pastel and sand, her work has a textural quality that is enhanced by the use of handmade paper, veneer and sandpaper.

Sarah gained her Bachelor of Design at Liverpool Hope University and has exhibited in London, Liverpool and throughout the south east of England.
