Pamela Yeend

Pamela Yeends current 'Fragile Earth' series of abstract paintings are characterised by use of a limited palette that does not lose vibrancy in expression. Reds are fiery, ochres are deep and rich; there is much activity on the surface. Indeed, her sources of inspiration from Nature are interpreted as if some form of primal energy is at work.

The artist is in tune with the picture plane and on this surface textures may appear from the blending of other media with oil paint. The artists methodology of direct experience of landscape and seascape relies on an intimate interpretation of feelings. Yet the outcome can be universally accepted and appreciate on many levels.

Pamela Yeend is willing to negotiate commissions that lie specifically within the genre of her work. The time to complete paintings varies and this should be discussed with the artist. Prices are reflected by the work shown in Studio 7. These also show a broad range of picture sizes suitable for smaller or larger rooms in a home or office.
