As a self-taught artist I have spent many years painting in oils and watercolours, and more recently acrylics. I have my work exhibited in galleries in Essex, Kent and Sussex and several art groups including the Royal Tunbridge Wells Art Society

A love of boats and marine subjects led me to painting the old Essex barges with their huge sails wonderful sight when sailing up the Thames or out in the estuary. Also I paint the fishing boats and village along the Essex coast and the inland waterways

Living in Sussex I also paint the countryside with its changing seasons its hidden beauty spots and secret places you don't see when travelling by car
