My paintings offer views of city life 'at a glance'; ordinary people doing ordinary things, that when captured on canvas can portray a rather amusing and sometimes sinister angle to the normal one.

Prior to my degree I had a small business of my own reproducing and selling my artwork as poster prints, greetings cards and T-shirt designs most of which were influenced by the icons and aesthetics of Hip-Hop culture and graffiti. I also carried out many portraiture commissions; working from either photographs or life. Alongside my own artistic endeavours I have also worked creatively with young people for a number of years in youth clubs, schools and on play schemes.
