Most of my art is created from imagination, without any actual displays or any reference points. Sometimes a difficult process that takes longer to develop. However, as with all my paintings once started, after intensive planning, it often 'evolves' in a 'free' direction with some exciting results. I also maintain a controlled and disciplined high standard throughout the development. In my paintings I like to carry the theme into the border in an abstract way and use of complimentary contrast is a little unusually balanced. I also use some simple mathematics in a variety of ways in my art.

In March 2002, I received membership of the prestigious Leicester Society of Artists. Some of my work has been on display, among the very best, at the Leicester's famous New Walk Museum, during 13th Sept to 1st Dec 2002, where it received great acclaim from Mr Lars Tharp (BBC's Art Expert), fellow professional artists and the general public.
