Gerry Wilmer is a contemporary artist working mainly in oils and acrylics.
Her paintings, large and small, are highly impressionistic and abstract.
Gerry is inspired by Nature and the images found in flowers, trees and
water. Her paintings exploit contrasts such as those felt between dark
and light, the humble and the exotic, the simple and the extravagant
Gerry uses strong, bright colours influenced by travels to the Far East
and South Pacific.
Gerry Wilmer studied at Loughborough College of Art and has exhibited
widely in the UK. She has work in private collections in several countries
including USA.
