Andrew Pitt is a landscape painter working in oils and watercolour.
He also paints some still-life. He has had 14 solo exhibitions including:
Black-Friars Gallery, Kings Lynn; Litcham Gallery, Norfolk; Hudson Room;
Wisbech and Fenland Museum, Wisbech; Cambridgeshire; Oakwood House and
Friary Gallery, Maldon; Fire-Engine House Gallery, Ely.
In 1996 he was invited to contribute work to an exhibition of maritine
art in Lambeth Palace, London. His work is included in 'Encyclopaedia
of Watercolour Landscape Techniques'.
Andrew Pitt frequently lecturers and demonstrates to art societies as
well as running summer painting schools for art clubs.
Public collections include the Rio-Tinto Zinc Company, The Dutch Round
table and West Norfolk Health Authority. He also has paintings in private
collections in America, Canada, Holland, Australia, New Zealand and Switzerland.
