Introduction.

Thank you for downloading and reading this document. If you are an artist or craftsperson the following pages will explain how you can show your art or craftwork free on the Aarthaus Website.

Aarthaus is designed to encourage artists and craftspeople to use the Web to promote their work. A big incentive to do this is that it is free for to have a standard space in Aarthaus to exhibit your artwork and there are no ongoing charges.

The standard space allows you to show up to nine artworks with images and descriptive text. You can also include a short description about yourself and your artwork.

Although it is free to set up your own online art studio, if requests are made to change images once the standard space is set up there is a small charge for replacing any image.

Terms and Conditions

Exhibitors may have their own dedicated online studio set up free of charge to show up to nine artworks.

Once exhibition space is set up images may be replaced anytime or when work is sold at a charge of £4.50 per image.

Images should be supplied as photographs or 35mm slides

Photographs or 35mm slides are non-returnable unless accompanied by a stamped addressed envelope.

All information supplied will be treated in confidence. We will never disclose details to third parties unless instructed otherwise.

We reserve the right not to display work that is only suitable for adult viewing. Aarthaus is not under any obligation to explain reasons for refusing submissions.

Direct negotiations will normally take place between the artist and the buyer. Aarthaus will forward enquiries to artists free of charge.

If an artist elects to personally handle all enquiries from their web pages this will also include packing, postage and payment arrangements with the buyer.
